Bossiaea linophylla is a spreading shrub, usually with a weeping habit, that typically grows up to a height of up to 3 m. The leaves are linear to oblong or egg-shaped, and the pea flowers are bright yellow to orange or apricot with a red base. Flowering occurs from July to December. Grows in dappled shade to full sun in well draining light to heavy soils. It tolerates coastal conditions, lime and is drought and frost resistant once established. Summer water recommended in hot dry districts.
