Banksia stuposa (syn Dryandra) is a large shrub that typically grows 2- 3m x 2-3m with attractive serrated foliage. The flowers are golden yellow and white and occur from January to May or from July to December. It requires a well-drained heavy soil, and prefers full sun, although it will tolerate part shade. It is hardy to drought and frost-resistant to −7 °C, and responds well to pruning.
