Banksia splendida (syn Dryandra speciosa) is a much-branched shrub that typically grows to 1.5m x 1.5m with sharply-pointed, linear leaves. The eye catching cup shaped flowers are grey and “shaggy”with red centres and occur from July to September. Full sun or part shade. Likes well drained loam or sandy soils. Drought tolerant once established.
