Banksia quercifolia is a fast-growing, bushy shrub that flowers within five years from seed and grows 2-3m x 2m. It has wavy, serrated, narrow wedge-shaped leaves and yellow, orange or brown flower spikes March to November. It grows in well drained soils in full sun in areas where it receives extra seasonal rainfall. Drought and frost hardy once established and suitable for coastal conditions and because of its natural habitat, it may tolerate more moisture than other banksias.
We are currently closed for Christmas re-opening on the 27th December and posting orders out again after the 2nd January 2024, excludes seed only orders. We wish you all a joyous holiday with family and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Merry Christmas.
