Shrub to 3m. Yellow flower spikes Autumn to Winter. Attractive green foliage with white underside, new growth a rusty colour. Full sun or part shade. In cultivation it is adaptable to most soil types. Some summer water may be required. Occurs naturally along the east coast in forests, heaths and on the margins of swamps.
