Banksia gardneri is a low growing spreading banksia that effectively acts as a ground-cover. Long thick deeply divided leaves grow up from the ground hugging branches. From April to November the flower cones arise well beyond the leaves and are rusty brown with a cream coloured style. Full sun or part shade in well drained soils.
