Acacia vestita is a fast growing shrub 2-3m x 2-3m with pendulous habit. Slightly hairy grey-green elliptical leaves with a pointed end. Bright yellow flowers occurring from late Winter to Spring. Likes full sun or part shade and is very hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions. Drought and moderate frost tolerant. A lovely feature plant which can be used as an informal hedge or windbreak. Keep pruning to a minimum as it can spoil the effect of the weeping branches.
