Acacia cochlearis is a rigid upright shrub typically growing to a height 2-3m, but often smaller. It blooms in winter and spring from July to October and produces yellow flowers. Full sun preferred. Hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions including coastal. It is drought and frost tolerant. It is also used to stabilise dune or coastal areas.
