Acacia burkittii is a variable shrub growing between 2-4m x 2-4m. It has grey green long narrow foliage and an eye catching display of bright yellow rod flowers occurring from July to October. endemic to Western Australia, South Australia and western New South wales where it is found in arid zones making it very drought hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions including alkaline soils. Frost tolerant once established and coastal tolerant being being resistant to salt spray.
