Hakea denticulata is a dense woody shrub to 1-2m x 1-2m. Oval shaped foliage with teeth on the margins. Clusters of up to five creamy-yellow or orange-red flowers appear in leaf axils in the upper branches on a stalk July, August, September or October. They are offensively strongly scented. Grows in full sun or part shade in most well drained soils including clay. Drought tolerant and frost hardy.
