Easy to grow South African bulb growing 15–28 cm tall by 5 cm wide, with strap-shaped leaves and fleshy stems bearing pendent tubular flowers, blue at the base but then shade through a pink magenta to a deep magenta at the tips, in winter and spring. Multiplies readily. Good drainage required.
