Eremophila praecox is an upright evergreen shrub growing to 1.5m x 1-1.5m wide. It has small leaves which are covered in small hairs and mauve or purple flowers, tinged white on the outside, while the inside of the tube and lower part of the lobes are white, spotted purple.Flowering occurs between October and December. Grows best in full sun in most well drained soils including clay. Very drought hardy and frost tolerant. Found in only a few locations.
