Description

Dense bushy shrub 1-2m x 1-2m. Dark green ovate leaves and red and yellow tubular flowers in Winter. It is endemic to Kangaroo Island in South Australia where it grows in coastal heath on sand, often over limestone, so it prefers well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Frost and drought tolerant once established. Suitable for coastal and inland gardens. Tolerates salt laden winds. Suitable for pots.
