Description

Boronias fall into two categories, those with scented flowers and those with unscented flowers. The unscented varieties have aromatic foliage and are quite easy to grow in comparison. They usually dont mind full sun and are remarkably drought tolerant.

Boronia chartacea is an evergreen shrub ranging in size from 40cm to 2.7m x 1m with elongated green foliage. The magenta pink flowers occur singly or in groups of up to three between August and October. Well drained but dampish soils in full sun or part shade.  Summer water recommended.
